Lima Tech Meetup

Lima Tech Meetup

Our trip to Peru was so exciting as there is no better time to visit the Lima tech community.  The Peruvian economy has just started to blossom, government and private sector supports are trickling in, hope is high, humble but talented entrepreneurs are willing to hustle and a whole market of consumers is hungry for new things.

To top it off, Lima Tech Meetup and Escue Lab gracefully hosted a welcome event for us.  We discussed the factors that are needed to grow the community and then used one of the startups there as the case study for a working session on metrics and growth hacking.  The discussion was lively, with a mix of English and Spanish, and we all stayed late into the night, deeply engaged in the conversation.  We left Lima with such a great impression of the place and people there, feeling like we have learned as much as we shared.

Our special thanks is to Federico Lara, who has coordinated every little details to make our trip remarkable.  Federico is a role model of a die hard startup leader who loves his community.

Wow, so nice to know that you still come by and visit my site, Simon. Thanks. Yes definitely, you have to let me know when you’re in LA next. I need your help with something… and can only ask for help from someone I trust… :)
